No offence Nora, the only reason to come to CT is to go to Bristol and tour ESPN.

Um....just so you know...there's no "d" after the e - n.

Enfield is just below the Mass. Border....I am in the South-West; just above Greenwich.
NYC is no problem to get to by Train - approx. 1 hour. 8)

I've been to your state once, Nora. Flew into Rhode Island and we drove to the Mohegan Sun (huge place) in Connecticut. Didn't see the scenery when we drove at night, but on the way back the drive to Rhode Island was during the day.......great scenery, everything was changing colors. :) Although, we stopped at one backwoods looking gas station/convenience store the first night in that looked like it could have come right out of a scene from Deliverance.  Was a great Scrap Metal show at the Mohegan......with JSS, EM and Kip Winger. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BpFjKXLQwAQ Actually my sig pic was taken at the Mohegan, by Kip.

Huge casino. And I can be so directionally challenged sometimes.....I wandered off to play some slots and almost couldn't remember how to get back to where the show was going to be.

Glad you had a good time, Deb! :D

Yeah; Mohegan is the only Arena left here.....The New Haven Coliseum (where the Van Halen concert was filmed in the 80s with Sammy Hagar) no longer exists, and the Hartford Civic Center is.....well.....I'm not sure. They do a lot of Business Conventions and stuff there now.

The only thing I DON'T like is the fact that I have to go from where I live on the Western side of CT and drive almost to RHODE ISLAND to see a Concert! :x.

It reminds me of the Emerald City Building in "The Wizard of Oz"....it just "comes out of nowhere" as you drive up to it
