Neither do the damned copperheads and rattlers that are all around here. The snakes are one of the things I HATE about the south.
Sorry Ginger, but I see no beauty in any reptile or insect. I'm just girlie that way I guess.

Last I checked nobody was trying to take those rights away, we just don't want you trying to impose your beliefs on us or making laws that require us to live and teach our children according to your tenets.
I'm not against Christians per se, I'm against all organized religion because I believe them to be the biggest cons ever perpetrated upon mankind and the cause of more war and destruction of life than anything else in history.
I also live in the south, and my husband is an avid hunter, but he doesn't pay dues to the gun lobby because he sees it for the rip off and negative influence on the government that it is. He's seen too many people that he's grown up around or known his entire life, who are so poor that they have to hunt to feed their families but will dutifully put one dollar out of every 10 in a damned collection plate to support the preacher and unfailingly pay their NRA dues. They're the ones around here that have signs in their yard saying "I'm NRA and I Vote". Guess who they vote for.
well its been awhile then since you checked... brady bill #1... altering the rights to bear arms... is first step in taking the rights away... ask smokers...and it never ceases to amaze me this line... Iam not against religion... per se... against all religion??? relegion is not to be against... its be studied...and in the religion you believe in, you believe that there is someone higher than you... this line shows
that you are intolerant... with out trying to be intolerant... you cant have it both ways... you cant be not against christians per se, but against ALL organized religion... period.

the party that claims to be open minded, non-judgmental, tolerant really isn't.

Rockindeano wrote:Dude, check yourself- the Brady Bill is a great bill. It has no intentions of taking away the 2nd amendment. It has to do with making sure the proper channels are followed so that certain individuals do not get their hands on guns. The asshole that shot Brady...you still think he should be granted the right to bear arms? LOL, come on man...no one is taking hunting rifles away...stop blindly following the fucking NRA for Christ's sake. The bill is to ensure the safety of the American citizen, "rights" be damned. The Constitution guarantees the citizens of this nation the "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" not go walk down the street and get shot at because someone needs their gun fix. The NRA is laughable. These assclowns advocate the need to possess machine guns and automatic weapons. Where's the need for that shit? Really?

Listen. Once and for all. In addition to starting a disastrous, illegal war, your idol, the worst President in American history, George Dubbya "Cowboy" Bush also presided over a record TWO recessions.
By this time in office he had spent FOUR TIMES AS MUCH TIME ON VACATION AS OBAMA HAS.
Signed, sealed, and delivered.
End of story.
Fuck off.

The National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), the group that officially dates the start of recessions, put it at March 2001. Just sayin.

RossValoryRocks wrote:I will find the links I posted earlier...regardless of what the NBER says, the economy stopped growth considerably earlier than March 2001. Even the VERY DATA NBER uses shows that.
And even if it started in March that means Bush was President about a month, maybe a month and 1/2...he didn't have time to wipe his ass let alone cause a recession.
Hell it can be debated whether or not a President can actually cause a recession to begin with.
Here is the first link, from CNN-IReport: http://www.ireport.com/docs/DOC-80312
Another one, but I am sure you and 7 will scoff at the it because it's from the National Review...but look at the data, and ignore the politics.

That shit happens in every city where a sports championship is won9save for hockey because their fans are a respectful group. See Chicago). I will say that LA is a definite shithole.

Let's be honest here. The rioting in the U.S. is almost exclusively committed by minorities. They act just like the filthy Euro soccer fans and South American nuts. Those rioters after the Lakers game were nothing more than oppportunists looking for an excuse to vandalize, cause havoc and grab a few free things.
Right. And I didn't hear of any rioting in the Korean areas of LA. Hmmmmm..wonder why?

So, are you saying that to be "tolerant" means to be "tolerant" of war? That's not going to happen.
I tolerate organized religion but that doesn't mean I have to agree with it or like it.
Intolerance, thy name is rethug.

who was talking about war???
people need to be tolerant of other views/beliefs/opinions without the belittling & name calling. imo most of the nastiness here (in this forum) is coming from the left (the party that platforms on tolerance, being open minded & non-judgmental)... that is how i see it.
these were your words not mine...
