I thought the officiating was a non-factor in the game. In fact, it was. The play is what was terrible. Boston chose to play the game from the outside and the free throw disparity you're grumbling about is because they never took the ball to the hole and were trounced by L.A.'s offensive rebounding. Ray Allen was off again and the bench was mediocre, at best. The team that played horrible lost and the team that played bad won. What a shit game.

Lakers got boards due to absense of Perk. How many times do I have to say it?

But thats the NBA in a nutshell. So many travels and uneven calls on both ends. BUT, THINK. Revenue. People are not going to pay big bucks around the NBA world to go to the game and have the officials call travel every other time down floor. Ain't going to happen. I'm from Indiana and Reggie Miller would always take baby steps when he came off picks. For 20 years. It's not called because it would not get people in the stands. It would be sickning.

Yep, and your same Reggie Miller was the master of kicking his legs out during 3 pointers...to get the foul call from the refs...and they let him get away with it everytime...the state of officiating in the 4 sports is deplorable...NBA is the worst. Then the NHL...NFL and MLB follow....

Honestly, 21 fucking free throws in the FINAL QUARTER for the Lakers and Gasshole? Ridiculous excuse for "refereeing". Nothing against the Lakers, but the zebras determined the outcome of this game. Bryant and Gasshole flopped more than a French forward (soccer reference).

I was impressed with Kobe admitting to the mistakes he made last night, trying to take over the game, putting up shots that weren't there, etc.
When one aspect of your game goes south you need to contribute other ways and Bryant did that with the 15 boards.
