This image is AMAZING

Bolt from the blue: Seen from the Hancock Tower, lighting strikes both the Willis Tower, right, and the Trump Tower in downtown Chicago as a severe storm rolls through the region last night:

Took this last night.... the mammatus clouds after the crazy (biblical!) storm we had...

(I didn't take pics of the storm - wanted to, it was wild - but the tornado siren went off, so no way was I going out there)

What an amazing shot. It was a really wicked storm.

Here's one I took at my house last night at sunset after the storm had just passed.

Here's a lightning shot I took last Summer, for our CD cover....(it didn't "translate" as well as I thought - so, it wasn't used in the final product... )

I stood in my backyard, like a DAMN FOOL, holding a METAL DIGITAL CAMERA, praying for lightning...and, well, I got it!!

Seriously Nora? Cool shot, but geez....
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

   When they were annoying him, my uncle used to tell my cousins to go play golf in a thunderstorm.
Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!
