Almost any game that comes out , unless its Halo, comes out on both systems, and 9 out of 10 time the graphics and game play are identical, and 1 out of 10 , PS3 graphics are better.
As far as online playing, Jimbo here thinks that Xbox live is way better than PSN,,,, thats his opinion cause most his buddies have 360... and he is trying to justify the money he pays for xbox live , when PSN is free,,,, (Yes they will come out with PSN+ that is also $50 a year but thats just for added bonus features,,,, anything that is free right now on PSN will remain free, including ONLINE play ).

Both systems are very solid,, while Xbox did get a head start by coming out 1 year earlier, PS3 is a more solid system when it comes to quality and they didnt suffer the problems Xbox had the first 2 years with ROD ,,,,,

To sum it up,, there is no better system. Its all about the games you personally like,, and in this matchup, about how many of your friends own the system for online game play.

That's not entirely true... The current 360 will also work with Microspft's Kinect. The new 360 (while it LOOKS bad-ass), is still a 360. They just added wi-fi and a couple of USB ports. I think they also added some sort of port for the kinect, but it's also compatible with the current models out there. I'll definitely be buying the kinect when it comes out.

Once my current 360 craps out, I'll replace it with the new model because it's also much quieter. Pretty cool looking machine!

Dude... I have BOTH systems, and BOTH of them are online. PSN sucks ass compared to Microsoft's. THAT's why I play it. 360 has more exclusive games that I'm interested in. Gears Of War, Fable, Mass Effect, etc... Not only that, but many of these games come out weeks or even MONTHS earlier on the 360. I have YET to see a game that PS3 has, that couldn't be done on the 360 either. Many of the PS3 exclusives (MGS, GTA, Resident Evil) have now jumped ship and opened there doors to the XBOX. There's a reason for that!

Don't get me wrong now, I still enjoy some games on the PS3 (God of War III being one of them). I just prefer games on the 360 because of the online playability. And you're getting ready to start paying for your online experience too. It STILL won't be as good as Xbox's either!

Yep. I'd be pissed if it didn't, and I think it was a very smart move on Microsoft's part. I'm still waiting for the official pricing, but unofficially it's $149.99. It's pretty high, but I'll be getting one the day it launches. My wife's pretty excited about it too.

Dude... it takes a LOT more than spending a few dollars on a video game for me to get in the doghouse. Now buying a $45,000 truck... THAT shit got me in the doghouse. Kinect, formally known as Project Natal, is a gimmick. Microsoft's attempt to cull casual gamers like Nintendo did with that lame Wii fit board....first they changed their BLADE interface with avatars, and now a lame gimmicky device so that players don't need a controller.
Here's a partial list of titles due out by launch:
