RIP MJ

Postby Behshad » Sat Jun 26, 2010 2:52 am

Can't believe it's been a year since the King Of Pop left us. Grateful for all the great songs and entertainment he provided us with during his short time on this planet. RIP MICHAEL JACKSON !

He's still dead but if he wasn't he would surely tell you all how much he loves you and how he so appreciates this thread.

Shit that's a year ago??? Man , how time fly's ... From what I understand, there should be some new music forthcoming (over 200 unreleased tunes). Also, it sounded as though Janet Jackson's performance during AI finale had a backing track from Michael...I'm sure there's some good tracks within

I can't wait to hear them. As far as Janet goes, it was really uncanny how much her LEAD vocals sounded like Michael's. Her voice has changed a lot, and I told my wife I thought a Jackson 5 reunion tour (with Janet on lead vocals) would be freaking awesome! Nobody sounds more like Michael than Janet, and I think it would be an amazing concert. They could also do a few of her tunes too. :D

That actual sound like a good idea...Janet rocked the shit out of the American Idol finale...

thriller and escape were literally two of the first albums i ever bought in late '82/early '83 as a eight year old kid so each is special to me.also never forget being scared to death of the thriller video when it first came out.i think both albums are great and not a bad song on either.

One of the reasons I can't stand listening to Elvis anymore is because they played the fucking shit to death over the years. I'll feel the same about MJ music if they do the same thing, which they will do. I'm still waiting for the Jumping MJ parachute team, like they have for Elvis. Like beating a dead horse. Like they did in the movies as well with Titanic. We all know what happened, but they continually remake it with something added.....like the story behind the story type of deal. Any day now another Titanic movie will come out about a batch of gay couples who were on the fucking ship when it went down. That's entertainment these days.....retreads.

Yeah, In Living Color was one of my favorite shows in the early 90's. Of course the main attraction for me was watching the Fly Girls dance. There was a really cute Asian one in the bunch at one time. Back then, I was into dancing and clubbing every Friday and Saturday night with my girl and watching the Fly Girls dance would get us in the mood for going out to dance.

Jim Carrey always played a great environmentalist bit.
