Now THAT's talent.........

Not only do they excel at their own instruments (Billy-bass, Paul-guitar, Eric-vocals, Pat-drums) but can play all the other instruments too. They actually switch it up twice! Image

 Yes kids, this is what a talented rock band looks like. Poor kids nowadays.

(Not sure what happened to Pat on vocals there the second switch up, he normally has the next best vocals to Eric.) :?

PACKED HOUSE! Good for them. I didn't know they had someone else that sang in the band. And I'm not a fan of covers, but man they did this one great. I didn't know Eric played the gitfiddle. But I don't know much about them.

LOL, they don't. The four have killer harmonies, but I've heard clips of Billy and Paul sing before and thought they weren't very good at all. But surprisingly Billy isn't too bad there. :o Equally surprising is usually Pat's a good singer, but I thought he was awful there (nerves?). And who knew Paul could play drums like that either! I just thought it was very cool to see them take on a couple other instruments/positions than their own. :)

This is what instruments they are normally masters of.............. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Awmr6NHVXE (probably one of my all-time favorite guitar intros.....beautiful!)

Nope, that's Paul Gilbert, Pat's on bass, Billy Sheehan on vocals, Eric Martin on guitar, then Pat gets on vocals too.

This is awesome Deb, thanks for posting! Neat to see them switch up like that!

If you're talking about the clip I posted right above your post, yes that is Pat. But the original clip posted, like Melly said is Paul behind the kit.

LOL, half the acts of my daughters generation haven't even mastered one instrument (including vocals), let alone 2 or 3. :P

Me too, it's such a pretty intro. I always thought of Richie Kotzen as the more soulful MB guitarist and Paul more of a shredder, but I guess he can get pretty (like Schon) now and then too. Can't wait, new album and tour in 2011! And a couple EMB shows right around the corner (he's using his 2002 band, same one he used at Gods 2002, Mark/bass, Mark/guitar, and his wife Denise/drums). Hopefully have some pics/vids to post. EMB and Mr Big, best of both worlds for this fan!

BTW both songs are on the Budakon dvd/cd from last year. Good stuff!
