for what it's worth the HLS Live and Big Drum cds are now back in stock on his website. The live cd, raw as hen's teeth as it may be, is every bit as good as Andrew said it was. Nice to hear a live cd that is actually 100% live.
He's a bit raw live, but at least in the studio, Henry Lee Summer is pretty underrated as a singer. Take one listen to him and it's pretty obvious he did a bunch of listening to Motown/soul singers in his younger days.
For sure, probably one of the reasons I dig his vocals. Kind of a grittier Eric Martin.

- heard this song on So You Think You Can Dance last night. I do like this kind of music once in awhile (have to be in the mood for it), so I bought the CD (kind of like swing music, but not exactly) - lots of fun songs
