Since Survivor just isn't giving me any new music, I've gone back in time and just got into Thin Lizzy. I think they're awesome!

Before anyone thinks there's only "Boys Are Back In Town" THINK AGAIN.

Yes, Thin Lizzy were awesome. Live and dangerous DVD gets regular play here, worth checking out. " Still in love with you " live is a must hear track.

Thin Lizzy?! Where do I begin? I cut my teeth on those guys. Hands down one of the greatest, most underrated, underappreciated, & sadly forgotten (by most) bands of the 70's and early 80's.

I still rate Brian Robertson’s lead on “Warriors” as one of the best...ever. Still gives me chills after all these years.

When we lost Phil Lynott, we lost one of the best exports from Ireland.

Highly recommend that people reach beyond “Boys are back in town” and “Jailbreak”.

Take your pick of any awesome tracks listed below and that’s just scratching the surface……….

Warriors- Jailbreak
Suicide- Fighting
Chinatown-Chinatown
Angel of Death- Renegade
Soldier of Fortune-Bad Reputation
Still in Love with You-Nightlife
Ballad of a hard man- Fighting
Emerald- Jailbreak
Rocky- Johnny the Fox
Johnny-Johnny the fox
Southbound-Bad Reputation
Waiting for an Alibi- Black Rose
Thunder and Lightning-Thunder and lightning
Bad Habits-Thunder and lightning
Get Out Of Here-Black Rose
We Will Be Strong-Chinatown
The Pressure Will Blow-Renegade
Got to Give It Up-Black Rose
Hollywood (Down on Your Luck)-Renegade
This Is the One-Thunder and lighting

I also highly recommend Gary Moore's version of "Still in love with you" that can easily be found by purchasing
"Out in the Fields: The Very Best of Gary Moore" (Although... I'd also heavily lean towards Lizzy's live version the THE definitive one)

Have you checked out Lynott's "Grand Slam" studio stuff from 84?
Not the best sound quality (demos) but has some good stuff like Nineteen & Military Man mixed among the offerings.

Methaddict, thanks for the heads up on Thunder and Lightning's tune "Bad Habits". Simply addictive! Something about the riffs.

Got to mention Cold Sweat and Heart Attack with a very subtle nod toward early Queen with its May guitar tone. The Sun goes Down is another chilling Lizzy track.

What do you think of the Chinatown album, the title track smokes with its classic guitar intro and riff, sheer class.
