My dog is such a good mouser!

Postby Suzanne » Sat Jul 17, 2010 1:50 pm

 He's been driving us nuts hunting around the house for a lone ( I hope) mouse. He caught it tonight and to my surprise, didn't eat it! He'd anything if we let him (which we don't of course) but he just left the mouse lying on the floor in the kitchen. We've set two different kinds of traps all around the house and never caught the thing. My good ol' Jack Russell got it though. At least, I guess he did it. I went to bed early and he went patrolling around, I got up and there was the mouse, dead. It was wet like he'd had it in his mouth (oh dear God I hope not). :?

where else would you have liked him to have it if it was wet... and NOT in his mouth?  Just be thankful that he killed the little crumb snatcher!

Well, maybe she hopes that the dog pulled a parfait on the mouse   Dunno which one is worse, your dog having mouse-breath, or your (dead) mouse smell like dog piss ! :?

Such meanies. Where would we all be if Walt killed Steamboat Willie? That mouse was and is a huge contributor to Americana. Seriously, who dislikes Disney?

Let the mouse live!
