I really had planned to go, as well as make MRFest. Sadly, life had other plans for me this year.

This Saturday July 17th 2010, Journey to the Cure is hosting it's 3rd Annual Sparkle Tie Summer Ball. Sadly, I am unable to perform/attend this year do to my recording and rehearsal schedule. However, being that "Journey to the Cure" holds a special place in my heart, and these fundraisers are the lifelin...e that helps keeps this extremely worthwhile Breast Cancer charity alive ... I have donated for auction or raffle, a beautiful pink Apple ipod which contains one of my brand new songs "Home Again", destined for my soon to be released CD, "In the Moment". This is as "one of a kind" as it gets. Along with it comes an autographed lyric sheet and plenty of good vibes.

Have fun everyone, and take lots of pictures!

The ladies of MR represented well, if I do say so myself.

Oh, and Sean looked really sharp too.

Congrats to Dr. Val, Butch, Deb P. & all the contributors to JTTC for another successful Sparkle Tie Ball. Butch reported that this event pushed JTTC over the $100,000 mark in fundraising; awesome feat for a group of friends who decided to make a difference for a worthwhile cause.

We missed all you regulars who didn't make it this year ... but we had fun just the same.

More tomorrow ... my sister booked the butt-crack of dawn flight, so I have to get a few hours of sleep while I can.

(Marie, that sign about the big noodle was at Navy Pier in Chicago, next to a giant scupture of a piece of Kraft mac-and-cheese. It totally cracked me up.)
