I've been a fan since 1993, so Meat Loaf music means something to me that's why.

i'm glad you put "favorite" & not "best." it would be difficult to determine who's "best" even if you narrowed it down to specifics like pitch, lyrics, speed, sales, range, headlines, etc.

in no particular order & subject to change without notice:

steve perry
neal schon
jeff beck
george michael
eric martin
nine inch nails
led zeppelin
prince
david bowie
riverdogs
michael jackson

(i know, it goes to eleven)

Yeah, there's really no way to say what artist is technically the "best" - in reality probably none are - but favorite artists are such for a variety of different reasons special to each person

I would add Eagles and David Bowie to my list but then I will exceed 10 too :)

Magnum.....UK rock
Phil Collins
Gotthard....European version of Bon Jovi
Jimmy Barnes....Aussie hard rock with new album out next month :)
Cold Chisel...more Aussie hard rock/blues/pop-rock..reuniting for a new album
John Farnham...pop rock
Rob Thomas / Matchbox 20...might as well group these together
Thunder....UK hard rock, now sadly disbanded when vocalist retired last year
Survivor...Jamison and Bickler eras only, not too fond of current situation

Sorry Deano, did not notice the typo........Dan would have corrected me first if he saw it........that is my husband's favorite band. I get tired and make mistakes. It is almost midnight in Arkansas sweetie! I know how to spell Cheap as in tight with money and cheep as in a bird singing. See? I do know the difference. I just make mistakes from time to time. I just have less time to check everyone's spelling as much as you do. I was working on my drawings tonight. Thank you for keeping me aware of every little mistake I make though. Your just so sweet. Remind me to crochet you something really pretty sometime.

I wanted to listen to Queen again, so I pulled up the Live Aid performance on YouTube - damn, Freddie Mercury was amazing. How many performers today can play live to an audience of 85,000 plus millions of viewers on TV and be phenomenal?

None - then or now (you need to borrow my Live Aid DVD or one of my Queen DVD's to really appreciate how he could command an audience) :) . And speaking of commanding, this guy did a pretty good job too  :
