They are saying what she had the procedure done for, thinning of the face is very prevalent in Asia but most Western Doctors won't do it. Also because of her age, she may develop jaw problems down the road as her face changes naturally and her jaws move to compensate. With the skin tightened she'll lose the flexibility in her face to allow free movement which could effect her singing and also be very painful in general. Then she'll need further procedures to loosen everything up. Yuch.

Glee execs are pretty pissed that it is being implied that she did this because of the show. They could drop her ass and be within their rights as she altered her appearance from when they auditioned her. I know they had an Asian girl girl on the show already with a round face, an over weight black chick and the nerdy guy. The show is definitely NOT looking for candidates to be next year's top model. Even the lead girl sort of has a big schnoz. Definitely can't see them telling Charice she needed to Westernize herself. Total crap.

Glee has one actor that's 20 and the rest are 24 and older. I guess they went older to get people experienced on Broadway and with Dance, as most of the cast have those back rounds.
