Ugh, Journey goes country.

And how can you not like Marin County, that whole area is gorgeous. Was just there a week ago, my first sig link was shot in Marinwood Park. Mind you I was only there for a few days.

My house was assessed at just a little over $400k, but the assessor has no idea we finished the basement, adding another 1800sf of finished space (total 5299) Can't see much, but it's the one on the right. Property values where we live are cheap. We built in 1994 for $269k

I'm not at all crazy about that idea. :?

Actually, could be cool. Zepplin, Aerosmith, The Beatles have all had those influences in their music. The best song on Late Night (I'll Cover You) also had that vibe. "Kashmir" without that Eastern influence would've sucked.

NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

All The Things from Arrival has a different kind of sound and then there's Believe, definite Led Zeppelin sound.

I don't know, Augeri sounds a lot like Plant to me on this, and I guess its the vocal style that reminds me of them.

Not one in particular, just the layered guitar sound. The kind of sound that usually requires tape or extra musicians to pull off in a live setting.

Looks like just a normal house to me. Cheesy and tacky, but I guess it's a nice home for a big family with kids. But there's not a lot of style to be found :)

um....you do realize that the house didn't look like this when Jon lived there, right? The realtor sanitized everything to make it appealing to Joe Average home buyer. I've been in Jon's home (when he lived there) and it was quite nice.

I had thought that, especially as I was under the impression that the family had already moved out - there's just a total lack of personal touches through-out (and the realtor was too cheap to spring for a second vase of tulips, so the same bunch keeps being seen in every room.) But I'm glad they had the sense to leave the murals in the kids' room alone.
Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!

Beautiful house...1.9M does seem low considering all the amenities and furnishings (assuming everything shown in the pics are included). Real Estate values everywhere are down, for sure.

LOL - with the way some of the folks in this forum act like they know the members of Journey personally, have participated in their business transactions and have all the 'inside scoop', I'm surprised there isn't more "I went to a BBQ at this house 3 times a week while I was personally writing Jon Cain's memoirs with him".
