Every person in that crowd was a real celebrity, and there was a guide on the inside to who was who.

And check this out. About a week ago I found an ollllllllllllllllllllllld keepsake box my mom gave me a few years back, and I've never looked in it until last weekend. I apparently used to draw a lot of Superman cartoons, and even made my own silly little comic book. Barely above stick figure quality, LOL. I need to take some photos of it and upload them.

One of about a 1/4 of my books that made thru katrina. Looked at it a while back.

So what's this I hear about Captain American not being "ALL ABOUT AMERICA?" What the hell is that all about? (Didn't get a chance to read the article, but my buddy made me aware of it.)

The whole point of the character was to give the United States a solider no one has ever seen before given a structured serum and and use him to the advantage of the United States. Hell, is is a walking AMERICAN flag and his name is Captain AMERICA. I bet fans are pissed about this. If you can't write Captain AMERICA right in the story, then you need to GTFO. What a mockery.

I went ahead and read the article and took it a little differently. They aren't making him a "world's hero" like they've done with Superman. He's a patriot but just not a jingoistic Pat Buchanan I guess.

Here's another cool article on Captain America. It's a little older, but very interesting. There will apparently be different versions of the costume in the movie, including one closer to the Jack Kirby classic:
