Well I would make the argument that a true big time act doesn't need an opening act, nor do they use one.
However, I know BJ is a big time act, but seriously, why the need for an opening act. Be like the ESB and play 30 songs a night with no opener. Seems to me the true fan would want that instead of 10 songs from an opener and 21 from the closer, yes?
By the way, I do get why BJ does this...genius idea.
Yeah, but don't you think they are justportland wrote:I thought they were doing it to give local bands a chance to play a venue that they would never get

Did you see where Jon posted Richie's number on facebook so everyone can leave him a birthday message on Sunday. I can't think of any other 80s act more active on FB. This band knows where there fans are and interacts with them accordingly.

Meat Loaf is another one that works FB constantly, can't fault him at all.

WGN is a Superstation, like TBS... I used to get WGN in Arizona too.

I think it was because they are opening for Bon jovi? Or maybe it's a local summer music thing they do there! Not sure! So maybe rhi should answer!Michigan Girl wrote:So, again ...I missed the intro and first few bars, was this an appearance
