Funny Journey/Rush Story

Heard this today....Our current sound guy was a touring engineer in the 70s and 80s with Clair Bros, a large international concert production company. He was touring with Fleetwood Mac around 80-81 or so, and told us that he was at a FWM party where Neal Schon and Geddy Lee were having a fight, and Neal punched Geddy out.... :lol:

That would have been awesome to see! I don't know if it's true, but he has no reason to lie and he certainly would have been there.

Anyway, just thought I'd share!

I have always hated Rush and think they're the most annoying sounding band ever. This is a great story to hear. Fuck Geddy Lee!!! :lol:

Considering the personalities of the two guys, I would bet, if it really did happen, that Neal was the ass and instigator. I've never heard of Geddy being anything but nice to almost everyone.

If you really believe this, you are a toad. I LOVE Rush. They're one of my top three bands. However, Neal is every bit as good a musician as Geddy Lee.

Aww, Neal the badass. I remember him telling me, AR and JSS on the way into Brennan's Irish bar at 140AM in Bosin, MA(yes I remember the exact time), he told me he 'beat the living shit out of Jason Bonham' over in Europe. I believe Bonham was making fun of Journey, LOL.

Geddy Lee is one talented sonofabitch..Hell, the entire band is, but I hate their sound. Lee always reminded me of a hard rockin' Kevin Cronin with the 'original' hair. Remember Ms. Cronoin actually had black curly lettuce in the Hi Infidelity days, unlike the Richard Gere look he is going for currently.
