I highly doubt it. While Smith is doing more Middle Eastern influenced music, it's more jazz/fusion oriented. His heart and soul are in the new RagaBopTrio that he's now a part of. Nothing about it says rock. Plenty of other rock bands have gone the Middle Eastern direction effectively before, but the sound is not what Smith is producing these days. Wishful thinking, though, SJ!
