Anyone else NOT enjoying their summer?

Just curious. I don't know what the hell's wrong with me, but I've been in a serious slump for the last month. I haven't been posting lately (except the last couple of days), because I think I've just run out of stuff to talk about. It seems like we've hashed out every topic that could possibly be discussed. Nothing new to stir up interest here.

Andrew has been very cool, and has offered his help on our album, but I've all but given up on it. The project has had so many ups and downs, but it just seems like the whole thing has gone down the drain, and it depresses the shit out of me. Hell, I started to build a Facebook page the other day for Cold Heart, only to find that some country band has started using our name both there and on Myspace! When we picked that name, I searched the internet relentlessly for any band using it, and nobody had it. Oh well.

DAMN I need some good news to cheer my ass up right now.

Thanks Nora, but the problem isn't making physical cd's, it's with finishing RECORDING the songs! The cd's are the least of my worries.

You and a few others here, have a natural talent that I envy very much. You have a gift to share with the world and it would be a crime to keep it hidden, or to give up on it at all. Unfortunately I don't HAVE the files to send. Alex has them all, and he hasn't sent them yet. He's supposed to be dropping the disk in the mail tomorrow to him. We have about 40 tracks to send, and it would have taken too long to send them thru Yousendit. If he doesn't send them... I'm going to be arrested in Italy for opening a can of whup ass on someone!

I just need to get out and do something fun soon before I implode! Too bad there wasn't a kick-ass concert (Journey with STEVE PERRY comes to mind!) for us to all go to and have a big get together. Maybe some day.

Been seein a lotta shows lately and it's really helped my mood. I've learned I can't be so choosy with the shows I go to - last summer I barely went to a show. This summer, I've been to at least 8. Some of them wouldn't have been my first choice to go to, but I went with friends who liked the band more or whatever, and it's just fun as long as the band's decent.

Must be going around. I had a real different plan for this summer also and... well, not so much. My mistake was letting other people take from me, treat me poorly, lie, make me feel bad about myself, and I've about had it with that.

Things don't get better unless we take control and MAKE them better. Otherwise you end up a whining miserable jackoff who does nothing but make the people around you miserable too. I'm not going be that person. I have too many good things to let it be ruined by a bad mood or by a bunch of... what did rhiannon call it last week... 'dramatic fuckery"...
