Less than ?!?! ...I disagree, they would not be less relevant. What is this la la land?!?!

Are you making fun of where I live! Actually I'm serious, look at Perry's last three efforts, they would be playing elevator music by now.
or Hindu music ...

I agree! :)

I disagree. They are living off the past just as much as a successful Elvis impersonator is. If you took Journey's past with Steve Perry out of the equation, they would have no hits - and no hits means no tour.

If you took Journey out of the equation, Perry would still be on a turkey ranch. Make believe scenarios are stupid.

You should blame the fans more than anything, as they are the ones that are living in the past and want to hear the Dirty dozen at every show. Can't blame Journey for trying to please the fans. There has been 4 new CD's since perry, and if any new material is played on Tour, most people don't give a shit. Also, in todays music environment, it's not exactly easy for a band like Journey to start topping the charts with their new "hits"

Agreed.

And as far as Bon Jovi is concerned, it would be kind of hard to move on with a band without the person the band is named after. I know many of you wanted Journey to be called The Steve Perry band (some dream that it was), but it in the real world it wasn't.

Who really knows. Just curious to see where each band would be today, if they had made different decisions....... Image

Ok we now have about 5 pages of off topic crap that has nothing to do with the original post, including Dean's rant (which I loved). Rip, WTF is the story here? Is there any new relevant news regarding the original topic? Back on task folks .... info please.

I heard from a woman, who heard it from another woman, who heard it from some other women, that Steve Perry is still sexually active.

The rather large, protruding, "center face cartilage" will return...

I have to say the rumor mill is always fun to read, but seriously...at some point, don't these guys start to seem sort of, I don't know...STUPID for not having this reunion? Seriously- it just eventually makes them look like immature dumbasses that EVERYONE else can put their shit behind them to please the fans AND make gobs of cash, but they can't? So their feud goes deeper than Waters/Gilmore? Roth/Van Halen? Deyoung/ Sty....oh wait...yeah, they're stupid too!

Enough all ready!

Hehe, good stuff :)

He hasn't done any live performances since the Bill Graham thing. Mr. Kittens have talked about creating and touring continuously all these years, keeping the rumor going amongst his fans, but come on - he's 60 years old. It would have been awesome if I were wrong, but Perry is done for. They struggled with his voice on the RoR tour; no way he's going to be able to do it today.

I'm not blaming him though. They made some real good music. Just too bad that todays generation couldn't witness it (me included). Journey today is just a lot of shredding, Ed Hardy clothes and Arnel fans that sit on youtube commenting on Perry videos - " @infinitynebula MONGOLOID the ernie pEDO PUPPeteer same ip as nostevenojourney seek help morron MONGOLOID..... your old gay steveperry has a gay voice cock sounding voice of a rooster!!!! he sing the high notes like a MONSTER!!!! hhrRRRRRRrrrrrr ahahahaha."
