Day on the green......

Postby Deb » Sun Aug 08, 2010 4:17 pm

Was recently watching the clips from this show and would looooove to have seen this 'day on the green' show live..............there is just some kind of killer energy there between them all! :D Especially on Party's Over and Dead or Alive. Sorry for the quality of the first 3, I didn't see those rare ones on YT so added them awhile back.

God I'm sorry, but Perry 'air guitaring' in SW is riduculous. I wish he played the actual instrument. He looks foolish.

With pipes like that, he doesn't need to play an instrument.........he can air guitar all he wants.

Does it a ton on the Houston DVD...
"I love almost everybody."---Rocky Balboa 1990

Looks better than Neal's blowing face. Why did he always do that? Watch the Anyway You Want it video of the commercial release. The dopiest face...
But of course, Ross's pants were the star of the day.

I'm surprised there's not better video of this.
NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

It's so weird to hear an "Escape" delivery on a "Frontiers" song.

From 1980 to 1984 Perry was the greatest there ever was.

Correction. From 1978 until today. I would listen to Perry in any vocal condition over anyone else, and do.

I'm not sure I qualify for loondome but I might. He's on my top ten list of people I would like to meet. I got to knock one of those off this weekend. Wasn't Perry though.

You can keep the Mariah Carey years when he sounded like a 14 year old girl getting finger fucked.

I really like his 70's vocals. They're quite androgynous.... and I dig that sort of thing. 8)

Bullshit. Perry was at his prime from 78-81. Journey in general was way better with Rollie than with Cain too.
