Pretty good song. I'd like to see Ann Wilson go on "The Biggest Loser" soon!

She looks fine. She's always gonna be heavy and just as long as that voice sounds like that, I don't think too many people care.

Ann Wilson could weigh 500 pounds and she'd still have that beautiful face and that voice from the Gods.

Yeah, I never cared what a singer looked like, but I know many do (for whatever reason), I just want 'em to entertain me and sing their guts out.

The album is out the end of this month. I think it's gonna be a great one.

My favorite Heart album is (and always will be) Bad Animals. I LOVE that album! Reminds me of my younger days hanging out with friends. I think I was 15 when it came out. :D

Ann and Nancy rule. This coming from a Seattle-ite.
Ann's always had a weight issue. You know what? Who the hell cares?
She sings her ass off. She sounds a bit rough in this clip, but it might be
because it's live. Ann and Nancy do the best version of "Battle of Evermore".

NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

I totally love that album, though it's one of their most commercial. But that's the Heart sound I grew to love, ya know? This new song didn't grab me, and I didn't really care for the video either. I thought Ann sounded rough and like she was pushing it too hard. Was it a live vocal?

Is it really?

I've only heard about 4 tracks and I liked them all. Now the first single called "Hey You" is not my cup of tea, Nancy sings it, and she sings beautifully, but I need a little harder rock from those girls, or at least Dog AND Butterfuly. "Hey You" is rather bland.

I think that vocal on WTF was studio, but I thought the roughness was cool, rock-n-roll ya know. LOL

Geeze dude, you have a bit too much estrogen coursing through you. "The Night" is the highlight on that cd. Great rocker.

Bad Animals was good as was Desire Walks On, Brigade too- However, it's not REAL Heart. Heart was the first album up to Bebe LeStrange (a great album).

After that, it was Capitol trying to change them. Actually, it was after Private Audition, but that is the worst Heart album for me.

Heart will ALWAYS be Dreamboat Annie thru Magazine...Bebe was weird(at least for me)...after Magazine there was much filler, and their albums were hit and miss...again, for me, never finding more than 3 or 4 standout tracks per release....After Private Audition, I find Bad Animals the next worst...especially the production...that album is piss poor to listen to today, and sucks sonically...

There's gems on every album and by the time Desire Walks On came around, the Wilson sisters were in charge again. For me, Heart has always been Ann and Nancy, but the nostalgia for the first group and the first few years, I totally get.

My favorites

MAGIC MAN
TREAT ME WELL
MISTRAL WIND(has to be my ALL TIME favorite)
DOG AND BUTTERFLY
WAIT FOR AN ANSWER
THE NIGHT (One of their best)
LITTLE QUEEN (That bridge is flawless)
RAGE
WILL YOU BE THERE
OLDEST STORY IN THE WORLD (from JUPITERS DARLINGS, which was a little less than great for me)

That song blows and I know the band doesn't like it. The record company basically made them do that song. Terrible message to that song as well.

Favorite Heart songs:

Crazy On You
Even It Up
Straight On
If Looks Could Kill

The ballads are great singing, just get tired of hearing them (and others cover them) all the time.

I heart Heart :)

This is that big open sound that I wish Journey would have leaned toward on the past few albums. It just allows more space to fill up with whatever you want, instead of having five different instruments that just get tied together.

NS guitars lately have been too processed & over-produced. And that tends to isolate him too much. Deen's snare/drums have been thumpy. And that loses him. If the overall sonic was more expansive, then all parts fill it and blend better.

Just a thot. Hard to explain.

more info on that tune....

n the liner notes of Heart's album The Road Home, Ann Wilson commented on the band's dislike for the song, stating, "Actually we had sworn off it because it kind of stood for everything we wanted to get away from. It was a song by "Mutt" Lange, who we liked, and it was originally written for Don Henley, but there was a lot of pressure on us to do the song at the time."[1]
