But the Separate Ways video I posted was from the end of last year's tour, when I saw him, and he was fantastic. I heard no noticeable diction problems. Here he is on Ask the Lonely, same concert, September 2009. He rocked.

And as for being from the Philippines, Charise sings with barely a hint of accent, not sure why some do and some don't, maybe more time on learning the language, I don't know. LOL on a side note, I don't know what it is with her, but I have yet to see or hear a clip from that girl without my eyes welling up..........just something absolutely stunningly beautiful about her vocals.......especially around the 4:30/5:00 mark.....just wow! He is an amazing singer with some serious qualities to his voice! He has a hell of a range in his vocals too (which I HIGHLY respect!).

I just don't believe that an iconic "American" band should have got a vocalist with a foreign accent. I don't give a shit WHERE he's from, but if his vocals don't sound "American"... it distracts the shit out of me. He could be from France for all I give a shit! It's not just that though...

Diction sounds great here and loved his stage presence too. I guess you didn't realize he HAS calmed down on stage, but still has great energy. Oh, you wouldn't know. I would because I've been to concerts.

Its not that fact that you don't like it, which is not actually what you said, its the making fun. My comment was really directed at Jim, but you decided to pile on. Where I come from its not cool to make fun of the way people talk, especially when there's a chance they might read it.

Dude, if you think I was mocking him, or making fun of him... You're wrong. I was trying to type what I'm hearing when he sings my favorite songs. Is it his fault? No! He is an amazing singer with some serious qualities to his voice! He has a hell of a range in his vocals too (which I HIGHLY respect!).

I just don't believe that an iconic "American" band should have got a vocalist with a foreign accent. I don't give a shit WHERE he's from, but if his vocals don't sound "American"... it distracts the shit out of me. He could be from France for all I give a shit! It's not just that though...

I saw a huge change in him by Hawaii through October last year compared to 2008 and beginning of 2009 tour.
