The only place in the world they exist is here. And no, they are NOT friendly. Currently being wiped out by an AIRBORNE cancer virus affecting Devil's only. Really sad...

Yes, but it will be new talent that takes it to a new place while the Dinosaurs continue to be recognized for their contributions to music.

We need some group/male artists in the vein of Orianthi, Katy Perry, Pink and the like...

Sorry, I should have modified my question....

I'm refering to actual melodic rock like Crazy Lixx, Gotthard, Unruly Child, Bangalore Choir....NOT melodic POP rock. A formula like: New group + old style = awesome melodic hard rock. like CRAZY LIXX.

I would love to think so, but I don't think any media outlet in the USA is going to run with any of these bands - even despite how killer they are and as much as the quality matches that of the heyday.

i think it will remain a healthy underground scene for the most part. Thank God for the internet!

G'day Andrew, I've found my most favourite albums ever by going to your album reviews page, by taking your recommendations. I doubt I would of stummbled apon them overwise. One of my new favourite albums is Freedom Rock by the band H.E.A.T. IMO it's stellar, 10/10.

What do you consider essential must own AOR albums, like a top 50? or even a top 20. Do you have a list, or a webpage with them. I would get them all, because I'm really missing out.

Thanks.

Andrew,

Does the signing of Degreed mean that you have to send royalties to Steve Perry?

Yep, plus sinks/baths/whatever...

Does so due to gravitational forces being "upside down" to northern hemisphere. Cool stuff.

Fantasitc!. That's an amazing list, I have a few of those albums, ROR what a great album, IMO the best of them all. But I will go about getting all the ones you listed. Yeah I was never a fan of Def Leppard anyway, JE is OVER RATED ;-) IMO of course. Thanks again Andrew, for taking the time to post that and answer our questions.

In what way? I think I said it all a long time back. Doesn't worry me now, just don't want to revisit it when I play music.
