Just 2 (great) comments? More signs that this scene won't accept newcomers. It's all down to the dying grandpa's eh?

Andrew....for ME, it is just TOO modern sounding. However, I do like Vanity Kills....No offense, you know I appreciate all you do here, and for MRFest, right?

These bands just don't have that infamous *IT*....Nothing that grabs me by my balls and says, 'SCREAM!!!!!'...and the SP cover. Listening to that song made my skin crawl....very average sounding. Did I mention I LIKE Vanity Kills?

IMHO, you should look for acts in the vein of Crazy Lixx, H.E.A.T., and Brother Firetribe....Reckless Love even....

I might be able to arrange this!!!

Just listened Andrew, I think these boys have a great sound, I'm pretty sure Story Of Life would be my favorite, although, hard
to tell w/this short clip and w/out hearing the rest of the LP ...I'm really liking it!! The SP cover ...I appreciate them putting
their own little twist on that, but you know, Steve Perry, a hard man to follow. I really liked what I heard!! I would travel to
an MRFIII to hear them, and perhaps S&M will be there and we'll all get to hear him scream!!! :D

They do have a modern sound, but I like it and my son will also. He's a HS senior and loves melodic rock because I raised him right ;). I know he'll love these guys for having a more youthful sound. The key to success for these younger bands it to get their music out to the younger crowd. I wish them the best and can't wait to hear the rest of the CD.
