This would be cool. I just wonder if there are any hard feelings between all those involved regarding the whole Planet US, Soul Sirkus, Chickenfoot experiment. Probably not, but you never know with all the big names and egos involved.

Seger isn't going to open for Journey. I don't even Know if he'd co-headline with them.
The guy is a legend, he shouldn't be sharing the stage with anyone.

Thanks, Mr. Parade Pisser Oner.

I dunno, Don. Seger is a legend, to be sure (not to mention RnR Hall of Fame inductee-for whatever that's worth), but time changes everything.

Seger has often voiced his preference for playing smaller, more intimate venues. According to all reports, this upcoming Journey tour is supposed to be in the biggest arenas the band can play.

According to fans who attribute their statements to what Neal has said, Journey is supposed to be headlining all the festivals in Europe this time around (Download, Sweden Rock, ect.).
Maybe even a few stadiums here in the states too....err, maybe I made up that last part.
No matter, just get with the program okay?

G~boy is right, he is not opening for Journey ...I'd be shocked!!
He may show up unexpectedly at a home grown show e.g. Kid Rock or Eminem at the Palace, he seems to like being
a special guest now and again, but no!! He is a legend, especially in Michigan ...kinda like Marvin Gaye, Aretha, etc!!!

If I remember right, Kid Rock was the one who delivered the induction speech for Seger at the R&R HOF.

Love these guys!! Fun new album and they put on a fantastic live show. :D :D

I heard they will be on hiatus while Chad Smith is doing a new album with RHCP. Their last show was in Tahoe a couple weeks ago. I hope this won't be the end since I'd love to see them again.

Chickenfoot is:

Sammy Hagar
Michael Anthony
Joe Satriani

A Bog Seger/Journey Tour would definetly be a interesting one. I see Bob usually a few times at the Tigers games, very nice guy, and loves supporting his Detroit teams.

What about a Journey/Chicago Tour??

After the last Rik Emmett Interview, I'm really starting to believe that Triumph is officially finished (again).

I know this pairing has been suggested the last couple tours, but I still would like to see a Journey/Night Ranger tour. Bill it the "Bay Area Dinosaur Tour".

They have more rocking tunes for sure, but who the hell knows them? Their album lacks any real hooks or memorable choruses and after listening to the album twice, NONE of their songs stuck in my head. To me, the first sign of a winning song is when I'm whistling or humming it later. I love all
members of this band, but this was not a great album. People want to hear shit they know and recognize when they hear a band live. Journey has 25 or more songs that everyone knows and love. Just saying!

If Sammy would go all 5150 with the Setlist, it might be a different story. Let him throw in 'I Can't Drive 55' and, combined with the VH tunes it would be game over.

Totally agree but that would be VH..not Chickenfoot.

I LOVE Sammy...so for me he would be the attraction not Journey.

I guess we want what we can't have...Perry/Journey.....Hagar/Van Halen

Now that would be a tour........

lol, journey and any other band they would headline with could be billed as that, this is what they did last year. Night ranger was pretty good actually, besides the fact that the lead singer wouldn't stop telling stories

Well, for starters, they would first have to dump that name and Advertise as Hagar and Company doing a 5150 tour featuring the music of Van Halen.
