Same, if anything he's had to be really careful given the significant additional risks... Was he a druggie / drinker?

Best of luck to Brett and he has my prayers....he is way too young for this crap!

Folks - what are we basing this off of? Any real testimony of fact? I have never heard this to be the case with Brett....

Ok - so there it is...still, diabetes takes it's toll exponentially on those that suffer from it - many people (aka most of Motley Crue) have lived the life to the extreme, and are still alive and look remarkable for their age...alot of this has to do with genetics

Motley Crue?? Genetics?? How many facelifts has Vince had? Mike Marrs looks half dead (and is, although I still give him credit for hanging in there.) Tommy Lee the Hollywood guy probably directed Vince to the best plastic surgeon. I have a bit of respect for Nikki Sixx, who after all he'd been through managed to turn his life around.
Brett Michaels has himself to blame for a lot of his issues now. That being said, I hope he gets through this last bit of surgury in great shape. He's actually made a better name for himself in later life. I managed
to catch a few of Celebrity Apprentice and he basically impressed the hell out of me. Nice to see some guys grow up!!
