A Japanese guitarist. There's lots of other obscure   artists on the cd like Brad Gillis, Rudy Sarzo, Jake E. Lee, Carmine Appice, Bobby Blotzer, etc.

Oh no, I MUST be mean for adding a little humor into a sad thread. maybe the board isnt sad enough on its own lately and we should dwell and post every sad thing we can find. Then maybe it would attract millions!!!! I really dont think dan meant disrepect in that thread as much as seriously suggesting a common obituary thread so it didn't seem like depressing things all over the place. Some people come here for an escape. To me the Gotthard thread is totally appropriate. Because he's a melodic rock musician and we ARE an MR site. But it does get overboard here. And if this board loses humor, sorry, that will be it's demise.

No I like the humor and that makes this place fun to visit. But I don't see what the big deal is on a MELODIC ROCK site of having a thread for the death of a MELODIC ROCK SINGER. This isn't a sports site, but look at all the sports stuff all the time. I just don't click it, lol. So I don't understand why people complain about certain threads, or even certain people who start them, when it's real easy to just go around them. Like somebody MADE someone click on something that they don't care to read

I know! I think I stated above that the Gotthard one was appropriate. But I think the point is having a common thread for the more obscure deaths. NFL has mainly one thread now. Politics also they've tried. It's not a bad idea. The problem was more his delivery

I don't know, I still don't see what the big deal is about having a
thread for the death of a Melodic Rock singer on, again... a Melodic
Rock site, but that's just me, lol. It's just a small title of a thread
amongst MANY threads, really not hard at all to just SKIP it if there's
no interest! Like I do the football ones because football
sucks

I said that one WAS appropriate for that reason!! It's probably the MOST appropriate one posted in a year!! And this board has thread after thread of sad things at times, and it starts to feel like that's all there is. So combining it would feel less like that. Football may suck to many, but at least it's something happy. A release and escape. The Gotthard one deserved it's own thread for those that follow MR music and will miss him and his music. I agree.

I listened to More Than Enough, and the only thing I loved was the guitar. Not a great chorus, pretty good melody and the keys sounded ... weird. C+
