Rick~The Laters?!?

I'm pretty sure that Oklahoma State has a loss. TCU and Utah pla later this year and that'll probably be a battle of unbeatens. 2 good, under the radar, teams.

OK State is 5 and 0. Had a scare on Friday - first half anyway - from Louisiana-Lafayette, but ended up crushing them...

You're confused Nurse. You are thinking of Oregon State who BSU already beat. Oregon are the guys with the flashy uniforms who run faster than anyone else.

We've already established that I was confused...thanks for the recap.....although....BSU is lookin' pretty good...

I've decided to root against Michigan for the rest of the year. Topped off with an obliterating loss to Ohio State. NimRod has to go. Along with his soft offense and his soft defense. Michigan needs to hire Jim Harbaugh from Stanford and get back to Michigan football!

Last I checked...Troy was still in the NFL. His "story" is not finished.

BTW, he certainly had a big enough "impact" in college...ESPECIALLY in Michigan!

I'm really not impressed with QBs that can run the ball. I mean, Denard Robinson types are serviceable, but in the end you gotta know how to throw the ball. Peyton Manning can't run for squat, and he's the best of the best. Look what happened to Kordell Slash Stewart - wore out his welcome from an inability to chuck the pigskin....the list goes on: Randall Cunningham (really doesn't count because he ushered in this style of QB), Vince Young...etc. It's ok to be elusive, scrappy and whatnot...but when a QB is looking run first and foremost - it runs counterintuitive to what a QB is supposed to do....and white QBs that can run get a pass, in my book anyway....

What we all have forgotten here is the BCS rankings. We have argued the Coaches Poll and Media poll, and we have Ohio State 1 and Oregon 2, however......

The new BCS poll is due out real soon and the murmurings are that Boise St will be number one. I would guess Oregon number two because of a harder non conference schedule compared to Ohio State, but that''s just my opinion. I would guess on someone like Nebraska and LSU in the 4 or 5 range, even Alabama still alive because frankly, they went on the road and beat #10 Arkansas, then destroyed the Gators and lost on the road to another ranked team in South Carolina. Man, that is a brutal schedule, and don't forget they blasted what was at the time, a ranked Penn State team(yeah we know they suck ass now).

Predictions on the BCS poll?

Deano...you may be correct. Boise may get the nod in the BCS standings. My Buckeyes have not hit the "meat" of their schedule yet. However, this coming Sat. night (at Wisky) will tell us all a little bit more about what kind of team TOSU is this year.

We'll see...

That shouldn't matter....when the 49ers were spanking teams and winning SBs in the 80s...nobody seemed to care that they played in the WEAKEST division in the NFL year after year...you can only win against teams on the schedule. And they have. And until these major schools invite the TCUs, and the BSUs to play them - I don't think you can blame either school....

More good points from you. I would argue however, that the Pac 10 and SEC for the most part do play decent OOC teams. The major conferences that play continuous weak shit schedules are the Big Ten and the ACC.
