New Canadian Tribute Band

Postby Infinity Vocalist 2010 » Tue Oct 12, 2010 2:14 pm

Hey everyone,

I am a singer from Ontario in high school. I sing in our school rock band and last year we toured at schools in Ohio and played the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame. I am a huge Journey fan. I have started a tribute band called Infinity. Well, it's much more than that really. We have a mixed setlist but we keep it in the realm of classic rock, save for a couple numbers by Snow Patrol and Kings of Leon. We are preparing to have a busy summer in 2011, playing local shows and neighbouring cities. We save the full Journey setlist for bigger events where tributes are sought, like Canada Day, or the Peterborough Festival of Lights. I just wanted to let everyone on the Journey forum know about this, and I will link some YouTube videos or either me with the school band or me with Infinity.

I trust I will enjoy my time here at the MelodicRock forums.

Cheers!

Thanks! I've been reading the boards this whole summer, never registered but now I have finally been able to!

I have no vids ATM, but for you and everyone else, I'll put up the band FB page as I have on the new band, SP, and Facebook boards!

P.S. Anyone here like the Evolution tribute band?
