Me too. Used to like Jay until he stole Stuttering John away from Howard. He is a despicable douche. I don't think Conan has a chance to bury him though, being on TBS vs NBC. The odds are just stacked against him.

Hell I forgot all about Stern. Is he still on Sirius? Did Artie Lange ever come back to the show? I heard he stabbed himself trying to commit suicide.

Dude, Stern is the highest paid person in entertainment. 500 million for 5 years. Yea, he is still on Sirius. Artie quit Heroin, vicodin, quaaludes and coke. He did stab himself but he survived. He is coming back thankfully. Go read his book, "Too Fat to Fish." Hilarious. I had tears in my eyes reading his stories.

Good points all around. I wonder who will lead the Conan Band. Max Weinberg quit after getting 7 million a year to do that gig. I guess he makes enough with E Street to make ends meet though.

Jimmy Vivino is now leading the band. It's now called The Basic Cable Band. I think its most of the original 7 with Wormworth taking Max's spot

The rumour I keep hearing from Springsteen boards is Max must commit to Bruce for a "Final Tour." I guess it is a farewell tour that will last two years. Word is there will be a 20 night stands in New York/New Jersey (Meadowlands Stadium) and 5-10 night stands elsewhere like LA, London, Madrid, etc. Last year, Max missed about half the tour because of his commitment to Conan, and his son Jay, 17 years old, filled in. What a pressure packed situation for a 17 yr old, eh?

Wow, no shit. I saw somewhere online an interview with Max that said he recently had heart surgery to repair a valve or something. It was something he never told anybody about. Damned if I can remember where I saw it. But he said touring AND Conan were not in his future because of it so he chose to tour. Could be related to the Final Tour Commitments?
