Creed sucks
Even if you love the latter two bands, I don't see how you can possibly lump Matchbox 20 in with them. The 90s, as far as rock music went, really had two disparate genres:
"Grunge" which we all know
and
"90s pop/alternative etc" (call it what you will): This features bands like
Gin blossoms
Vertical Horizon
Hootie
Matchbox 20
etc... Some great music came out of that genre to be sure. Some of my favorite stuff to listen to.
