I think it's pretty obvious that there's a plethora of emotions and memories racing through Perry's body during these games. I'm also 100% convinced that, if handed a microphone while 45,000 people are going ape-shit, he'd sing. The problem is that this will all wear off and will he have the desire and adrenaline to sing, or will he quietly sneak back into private life and obscurity. My guess is, unfortunately, the latter. And I think Neal Schon is really pushing the envelope in a good way with his Facebook message because he, like all of the rest of us, is a huge fan. Someone just needs to pick up the phone. And I'm not referring to a reunion ... just a rekindled friendship, because it would have to start there.

I like the way that one of the commenters put this writer in his place. 8)

LisaWhite You don't have a clue what you are talking about. Steve has been going to games since 2002. They did not invite him to games...he is a season ticket holder. They have kept him under the radar all these years because that's how he wants it. When we were losing a playoff game, the Giants organization asked him if he wouldn't mind singing along on the jumbotron. Being the awesome and classy guy Steve is...he obliged. So it isn't Steve who is riding on the Giants for regained fame...it's the Giants... moreYou don't have a clue what you are talking about. Steve has been going to games since 2002. As a huge fan of the Giants, I for one thank Steve for helping us do that. As a huge fan of Steve's, I am grateful to see him having a great time and enjoying one hell of a year of GIANTS baseball. He is looking fit and healthy and HAPPY! You would be amazed by the number of fans Steve has out there to this day and gaining more everyday. Ashkon's video (which "exploded" during the playoffs not the World Series) didn't come out until after they showed Steve on TV the first time during the NLDS playoffs on Oct. 2nd. Steve was the one that prompted Ashkon to make the video. Please try to learn the facts before you start spewing out nonsense.
PEACE!
