#1 LA...they wouldn't have this problem IF DEANO would stop with the Colonics! Having see pictures (unfortunately) of his uhhh...left overs...I can see why he needs it!

I knew Orlando would be on the list. They've talked about this for years. One thing they've done in our area, which is good, was installed reclaimed water pipes for our neighborhood sprinkler systems. Grass can't live here without being watered at least 2 or 3 times a week. We are having a drought again right now. October had very little rainfall. We didn't even get one tropical system which isn't good. Hurricanes are bad, but we needed a good tropical depression. The aquifer will never catch up. I guess it will be interesting to see what they do in the future.

I'm surprised Fort Worth made the list. There are lakes all over the place around here. But I guess it's projected growth versus projected rainfall. We've gotten plenty of rain for the past couple of years, so we're in good shape right now.

Vega$ and L.A. have been fucked for years. L.A. asked if they could tap the Coachella aquifer, and they got the big middle finger for that one.

Well, we have tons of lakes too. But our main water source is our aquifer. There must be some reason why they don't consider those lakes as viable sources. All I can think of is that a lot of the real bodies of water, the ones that are spring fed, come from THAT aquifer for us. We get a lot of rain over a years time too, but I guess the drought months make it so that the aquifer will never catch up. I remember watching something about it once, and they showed divers going into the aquifer source and looking around and it was scary, the changes they saw.
