I only get them about 2 or 3 times a year and these satisfy that smokey, sweat barbecue-y craving pretty well. Who knows what the hell is in the McD's version!

After seeing that "Pink goo Chicken" (i.e. mechanically separated) that's been getting around the blogosphere - (ex: http://projectworldawareness.com/2010/1 ... with-this/) . . . I'm a little more inquisitive about the nature of the McRib...

Where does it come from?

In the US, why does it only seem to come up seasonally in certain regions of the country?

I'm willing to bet its origins have something to do with excess pork by product...yes I remember the McRib from my youth. I'll probably seek on out just for ol' times sake.

:? Why, the shamrock shake rocks - I had to nag my local McDonalds daily to fix the machine so I could get my fill of this green goddess last March before it vanished. And why is the McRib considered disgusting by many?? It may be over-loaded with fat but there's nothing gross in there...

Eggnog shake, really? For some reason I've never had the delight of seeing that on the menu - I know it must be 10,000 calories but God I love eggnog drinks for the holidays...have you tried the annual eggnog offerings from Starbucks? Eggnog latte for breakfast and spiked eggnog for a night cap, 'tis what the season is all about  8)

There's a lot of good fast food - processed shit made by a unhygenic acne-stache, isn't.

Good for you, if you think deep frying a couple of snickers bars is a tasty dinner for the kids. I don't, Mr. Krabs.
I was agreeing with you....while also pointing out what you eat doesnt qualify as food either....do you get it now? :P

Puh-lease. I'd rather take dieting tips from Sally Struthers than having to listen to a American talking about quality food.
