I hate to say it, but the new record, if it ever get done...will be the leftover demos from fire makes steel, that did not make it on the last studio cd.

I really see no future in this band, and that is a shame :(

What are you basing your info on? From what I hear there are six songs already in the can for the new record.

Just that it has taking soooooooooooooooooo long to get the cd together. I am fed up with it. I have always been a Survivor fan, but I am over the group. Both Jimi's have released one or two cds sincce the last Survivor cd, and they all have been good.
Just over the band. Today was the first time I visited the Survivor page in 4 or 5 months. May as well been 4 or 5 years. A shame too.

I agree it's a shame and that most are out of patience, but let's remain positive. Check out frankiesullivan.com. He is doing a nice job with updates.
