I don't give a shit about painting Neal in any sort of light.

Rockindeano wrote: The truth is it didn't go down the way you are saying it did, not even close. I am not at liberty to discuss certain intracacies, but I can definitely tell you that you were fed a line of shit, big time. Whomever your Journey source is, he is full of shit and is just feeding you a PR line crafted up by Barouck or Azoff himself. JSS was not let go because of the inability to "keep his trap shut." There is a whole lot more than you can possibly know, or even piece together.

I have no source and I don't give a shit about why he was fired. I can just tell you that from my perspective he blew it. Completely fucking blew it. And the proof's all pretty much right here.

Rockindeano wrote: I can tell you also that JSS is happy now, and makes a fine living doing what he is doing. In fact, I believe TSO out charted Journey last year. And I definitely believe they outdrew them on the road as well.

He's about as important to TSO as I am. They're an orchestra. That's why people come and see them. It's not because they have a fucking narrator. besides, they used to have platinum or multi-platinum albums. The last one, I believe, was their poorest selling album to date. But their success or failure has nothing to do with Soto.

I knew that all along. I just can't take a "Talisman Tour" seriously. Besides, it was only a 2 month tour of some European countries. Translation: bars and clubs.

Your constant negativity and digs are climibing right up my arse. And I've had enough.

How many fucking bands tour for 2 months across Europe? Not too bloody many....so give it a rest. The Perry and Soto shit stops now.

With all due respect,I'm surprised, at this point that you even care. This stuff goes on here all the time, not just about Perry and Soto. I thought this place was never about censorship. Now I'm confused. Putting your foot down on things like gay Friga jokes, I can understand, simply due to redundancy.....the rest I don't understand. :? It's not like this is the official Journey site, so why try and sanitize it? I'd be more concerned about the trashing of other forum members than band members, but heh, that's just me.

Let's not make this place turn so fucking boring that nobody wants to post anymore!

I can't make you believe me, but it was very common news when it all went down. I can even remember bits of the release. I think the Talisman guys even released a statement showing support and understanding. I have no reason to lie about something that was very common knowledge around here.

And what facts did I forget?

So why say he was the only one available with no commitments then, if you knew he had commitments? Own it.......it was a swipe, plain and simple.

He decided he didn't have any commitments, not me. If he was able to break free of them so easily, I can't consider them real commitments. Besides, I'm not even sure that dates and venues had even been finalized. So, like I said, he didn't have any commitments. Let's call them tentative plans.

Let's not make this place turn so fucking boring that nobody wants to post anymore!

1.) You have "trashed" other forum members...and in my case even entirely unprovoked by me in any way, as an excuse for you to do so.

2.) Not many want to post here now and its boring. IMO, the harrassment and name calling towards other members here as well as the musicians discussed, and all of the negativity and pure filth and disgusting and completely mean spirited posts by a few are what has caused people to leave this forum and keeps others from participating...NOT because there isn't enough abuse and negativity going on but due to so much of it for so long without a moderator who actually moderates. Without moderation and a guideline established to what is allowable and whats not then these forums on this site became a crash derby....which might have been fun for some of the participants for awhile but eventually there will only be a few cars left and when they are left just going around in circles avoiding collision... the spectacle stalls...and then when those few remaining have to have a go at each other then there will only be one car left running in the end....and its all over. That is where these forums and maybe this site have been heading for a long time now... just another mangeled up car in the scrap heap. You and a few say, keep the crash derby going and start it up again...but obviously there are fewer and fewer willing to participate and be put into the contest against their will.

See, there has been a loud SMALL contention routing on for a crash derby atmosphere and for it to continue and continue to get bloodier. ...but the majority don't wish to be participants in the derby...many watched silently, some amused, some appalled...but I think most have been appalled and turned away and walked out. Thats what happens when the site owner allows a handful of ruffians to do as they please. Its bad for business when you let others control your business and let them be representative of it. The only way I see for new participants to be attracted to the site and want to participate is to change the old stale atmosphere and create a new fresh one that appeals to more of a majority rather than a minority. When something isn't working any longer its time to change tacts..as in sailing a ship, changing the sails position to go in a different direction to propel ahead instead of lag behind until there is no wind left to fill the sails. Also when only a few sail the ship there is little variety and interest.

In conclusion...

And the "constant" bashing of Neal/Arnel doesn't bother you?

From what I've seen, Saint John is just providing a little bit of balance to the chaos.

I think Arnel gets critiqued (yes, sometimes harshly) more than bashed, it's his fans that get that action. As far as Neal, yeah he gets toasted, I even partake in that but it is all part of the balancing act around here. Tit for tat and all that.

And that's fine, we sure don't have to agree on everything, but sometimes he pisses people (re: me  ) off enough, to call him on his "little bit of balance".

Excuse me, but you haven't been here for a long time. This board is operating at about 90% of capacity- meaning that a whole slew of folks are back participating, arguing, throwing sharp objects, insults, whatever. This is the best this place has been in a long time. The only person I truly miss is that fuckface Robbie G who I sincerely hopes gets infected with a large load of semen shot up his ass in a public toilet sytem. I would laugh at that spectacle.

Since 2006 has been plenty of times worth of observation to have an opinion. I disagree with your analysis, obviously. Robbie G? You might want to ask SaintJohn where he is, I'm sure he knows. I have talked to Robbie on the phone twice...he was nice and polite.

He's still around, been exchanging some music with him. LOL even though our opinions are vastly different on some music things, he's not a bad guy, Dean. Although I have no idea what the deal is with you two?

He's still around, been exchanging some music with him. LOL even though our opinions are vastly different on some music things, he's not a bad guy, Dean. Although I have no idea what the deal is with you two?

I don't know who RobbieG is, but I think if the guy just did a full disclosure about who he was, what his capacity was with Journey, etc, it may clear up a few things. He's told me in personal messages several things that conflicted with things he posted here on the board about his travels around the country to see different Journey tribute bands, so I for one think there's at least a modicum of bullshit surrounding the guy. Or girl.

As I stated above, he called me on the phone twice...so I know for certain he is a guy. He was pleasant and polite. He told me that he doesn't work for Journey in any capacity but that a friend of his does.

( by the way, he sent me a pm wanting to talk but I wanted varification to who he was and would not talk in text so he called instead of messaging per my request.....and before untrue gossip starts...there was absolutely no flirtations or anything of that sort before during or after the conversations. We talked about Journey, other bands, musicians, his family and I talked about mine, )

Um, no. I have never met or talked to him other than on here via PM. But feel free to keep guessing!

He told me you and he are friends and he has talked to you often. He also told me he lives where you do and the area code verified that.

For the amount of times I've seen you post something like that, that's kinda scary. Do you give your phone # out to everybody. There is a grand total of only 3 guys on this forum that have my number (and of course my gal pals). But every single one that does, I've actually met.

I'm confused, you would not talk in text but would talk over the phone?
