tried these over the summer when my nephews insisted on it....TERRIBLE !!!!!
tasted like children's cough medicine mixed with grain alcohol....yuck!

I guess everyone has a different style of taste bud. Me personally? I was SHOCKED by the way these tasted for me. I was literally only going to take a sip and anticipate spitting it out due to only the bad reviews and expected Satans hand to come out of the top and pull me in the can for me to suffer for eternity in LoKo waste's around me. As soon as I took a sip, I was amazed how smooth and tasteful it was, and I'm bad with any sorts of alcohol. It def buzz's you fast no question, but if I had a choice to drink straight beer of any kind or a LoKo, then beer isn't even in the discussion for me and believe people react different ways to the sugar, liquor and all of that other good stuff in it. I like LoKo's a lot and I still can't believe I'm saying that haha.

I love these things and aren't NOWHERE NEAR.. not even close to the scrutiny that comes forth when talking this product. I had a Four LoKo last night and was completley fine sipping on it. I also had 2 beers to see the difference in taste and the Rolling Rock I consumed instantly fuzzed in my stomach and was hard for my stomach to take the sud and horrible tasting after-taste.

Why do I have to go along with a ban of a energy drink because idiotic, underage teenagers are shotgunning these things and acting like the morons they are?

If they are going to pull the plug on LoKos, then pull the plug on Mad Dawg and other mixed alcoholic beverages on the market that you can order at any bar to begin with like YagerBombs. What a crock. As long as your of age, it shouldn't matter to the casual. It's these college punks that ruin it for everyone else and this is coming from a person who doesn't drink much. LoKo's do the trick and give you a one and done buzz. That's it.

I just got me a four pack for tonight. I will submit my report quickly thereafter.

Yeah, I saw that. It's getting TONS of news coverage here in Pittsburgh as well. I'd say it was on the news atleast 7 times the past week in a half so it's pretty serious. I know it's the caffeine that's the problem, but if they aren't abused the way they are by these idiots, then I think they are literally fine and offer a clean buzz. When I say clean, I mean no suds or no weight in the stomach that bloats you, but at the same time, makes you feel a VERY good buzz without any nausea. I hope they stay because quite frankly, it's the only beverage I actually like! If not, I'd have to go back to gagging down 12 beers to feel it.
