Doesn't surprise me, a friend who goes to tons of shows told me the classic rock acts don't usually sell out until closer to. And considering it hasn't even really been announced yet, heck EM just recently put it on his website. There new album hasn't even dropped yet, so I'm still saying they'll sell out or close to by show time. :D Personally, I don't care if they do or not, less people to fight for front row. :P

They're, not there.

I wouldn't be too concerned about fighting for the front row Deb.....shouldn't be too much trouble. The place only holds 600, maybe.

LOL, wrong.

LOL at both of you - how about their?

LOL I saw my error and corrected mine first. :P

I would have corrected mine first, but I was watching Spoogefest Cumpilation #5, so I was a bit sidetracked to be sure.

How would you have heard that B?

There are ways to get the songs LONG before the CD drops....been doing it for YEARS. I usually get everything between 2 weeks-2 months early....so far, the hardest thing to get was the Nelson....

Well derrrr...it's called advance promotion for press. And certain assholes leak the advance copies. Albums are generally ready 3-4 months ahead of date, so it depends on what the label does with the music.

But the Mr. Big is being kept tightly wrapped...so I'm asking the question.

I'm not sure what Mandy's problem is, but I'm talking about the one song that's posted. His vocals are weak and not at all out front.

All kidding aside, I have to agree with you here. I am not at all impressed by his singing. Does nothing for me...doesn't grab the listener at all.

LOL

I really take any and all "review" comments on this board with a grain of salt. The opinions I respect are posted elsewhere and so far it's al thumbs up. If one knew this band truly (and same for any other band), then there would be no debate at all.

Wow Drew...your true record label owning elitism is showing fully now....I guess your members here are too lowly to have opinions on such earthshattering topics like album reviews.....?

I guess one would have to be quite an expert on ingratiation to warrant such respect, huh?

By other sites you must mean HH....no wonder my 2 PMs have gone unanswered.....pretty soon your ego will be too big for Hobart...

I've been listening to the song over the weekend and it keeps getting better. I find the hooks to be memorable and the musicianship, as expected, is stellar. Love how Paul did not overplay with the solo, but displayed just enough chops. One of my favorite guitar players.

As far as Eric, the guy just turned 50. His voice sounds pretty strong to me.

Dude, you really are a tool sometimes. My record label owning elitism? WTF has that got to do with anything? :D
Are Mr. Big on my label? Do you occasionally talk absolute bollocks?

You can have all the opinions you like....and I can equally disagree with any (all) of them! If I think the call here against this Mr. Big track is unfair and I'll damn well say so....just as you will post some utter crapola like you have here, to deflect attention away from your bizzare tastes.

You can't possibly think that Martin's vocals on that song are proper in the mix. If he's as good as you claim (which he's not), then let's hear him!!

 Ok, a week or so ago playing a little impromptu accoustic show with Billy in London. His vocals are still as strong as ever..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7mnVhHW4Bm0 (lol dude in the crowd looks like a long-haired Travis  ).

But I do agree they could have been higher in the mix on that song, he's got powerful pipes and they don't show as much on that one.

Check my link above your post. His vocals sound louder in this clip and more in the forefront.

Honestly, I like it....there's one caveat - the music is great. The vocals, not so much...I keep saying these guys can't seem to write a catchy song.....and the streak continues..... :?

personally, they have the same thing Talisman did for me on a bunch of their songs. A lot of jamming, with the vocals and melodies seemingly as an afterthought. There's talent in the band for sure, but most of their songs just don't work for me. Oh well...
