TCU Joins Big East

Postby Rockindeano » Tue Nov 30, 2010 6:05 am

What? Yep, breaking on ESPN now. They will dominate that shit awful conference. That conference should be stripped of it's BCS affiliation. Hell, I would rather the Mountain West Conference be BCS affiliated than the Big East.

Have to hand it to the Horned Frogsd, they were tired of being left out, now they will go every year.

The only reason the Big East was ever included in that BCS bowl bid was due to Virginia Tech, Miami, and Boston College still being Big East teams back when the BCS was setup. Now it's just ridiculous that the BE is still included.

I kind of figured that much. Now look at that pathetic shit conference- UCONN, Sewercruse, Pitt, Rutgers, Cincinnati, Louisville, USF, and who else? West Virginia? Garbage. In reality, the highest bowl they should attend would be the Gator bowl and they could play against a very mediocre Florida team and get their asses kicked. For them to go to the Sugar bowl and get run over by Oklahoma or Stanford is a waste of jet fuel.

Totally agreed. And a slap in the face to whatever (probably) more deserving team gets 86'd from the BCS bid because of it.

Makes as much sense as the Big 12 having 10 schools and the Big 10 having 11, soon 12. The NCAA (for football) and the conferences, along with their tv deals have things totally fucked up. It seems its going to get worse before it gets better.

That must have been back when the Seahawks played in the AFC West.
