That was probably 15 or more years ago. Saint John knows closer than I do. After he did that he took a sabbatical from doing secular music, or I bet the Journey guys would have snagged him.

That was probably 15 or more years ago. Saint John knows closer than I do. After he did that he took a sabbatical from doing secular music, or I bet the Journey guys would have snagged him.
He's a very religious man and stayed away from the whole bar and club thing for many, many years (which is why I'm betting they disbanded again). But I flat out asked him ... "If Journey ever contacted you about being their lead singer, what would you say?" He looked up, took a deep breath and responded, "That's just a chance you can't say no to."
