I agree that they need to step up on the cover. Arrival (Japanese version) was the last good one. But the lowest was Generations C&P.

Are you sure? I remember him pretty proud of himself way back when, saying he was going to do the cover for Red13, or Generations.... :?

Wavid and several other Back Talkers were up for the Red 13 cover. Christopher got it. Wavid has done several coverfs for Kevin Chalfant/Two Fires. He did "re-design" all the Journey covers as well as working on Ross Valory's website.

One of these guys also did DC's drums. They were red with silver wings. The wings were kind of futuristic chrome, but had a military insignia look to them. There were some stories at BackTalk about how DC calls him and says he likes his work, wants to put it on his drums. I think it was during the RED13 thing.

later~

Yeah, that was Wavid, too.

It should be Constipation. Rhymes with Generations and Revelation, and this band seems to be full of it anymore.

I loved the Revelation cover. Don't get the hate by some on it. Loved the colors and artwork.
I really like Trial By Fire cover, very creative. The cover that is the worst to me is Raised on Radio. Seems stark and lonely.

Who'd you hear that from; the guy who became persona non grata at Journey's old site for standing up a certain lady at Frank's party?

So, if Arnel is representative of the June Bug, which band members are the Cockshafer, Lamellicorn and Dung Beetle symbolizing?

Revelation is neat & precise, but too templatish to be of much substance. I can barely see an inner fabric to the mechanical impression & the almost bilateral (mirror) symmetry.

Surreal Trial By Fire's individual components/details are striking & engaging. The blend though seems more like a composite of mounted bits, it lacks the psychedelic transitions or hallucinatory twists characteristic of a single fluid dream.

Probably intentionally so, which is what I like about it. Maybe not the greatest idea to get people in a frenzy to buy your album, but it describes the late-night-lonely-highway feeling of the album rather well.
