I just watched Roger Waters last night and I have come away from that performance with the realization that I spend way to much time talking about a Pop-rock band (on on it's third replacement singer since its heyday) when there are so many other deserving acts out there I could be discussing.

Roger Waters board has to be boring as shit though....

Water's pretty active on FaceBook, though he's got his own stalkers and detractors just like Journey. I will say he has mellowed a bit. He had a nice video presentation of Soldiers reuniting with their kids, a bit of a surprise as usually Roger is so harsh in everything he is presenting on screen.
Any forum or board of his is definitely a great place to quarrel for politicos.

Having seen them both finally, I have to say that I prefer Gilmour's Floyd but both were spectacular shows.

I do understand that people don't get Pink Floyd but many are still clamoring for them to tour every year. The Download Festival forums always talk about them being the ultimate headliner with Zeppelin. Three sold out shows at Staples Center, Roger still packs them in.

Dangit! If faith20yrs and Night Ranger are both going to be there, I really have no choice, but it HAS to be front row -- no substitutions! At least flights should be cheaper on the weekdays!

Looks like I missed out on the front row seats in the pre-sale today. That's what I get for staying out of the loop, I guess.

They'd better mosey on up to Canada. My guitarist and I are planning to see them if they come to Toronto again.

I bet you money that they play Casino Rama in Toronto. I wouldn't think they could sell out Air Canada Centre, besides, the Leafs and Raptors are playing, so there might not be any free nights available.

I'd say they would hit the Molson Ampitheatre again in Toronto, like they did for the Revelation tour. That one, my godparents went to and it was Arnel's birthday. The casino's no good for me because they don't let minors in, even for concerts.

Depends on what the schedule falls on...It's only open from may to September...I have been there. Saw BA open the place back in 95 or 96. Nice place.

Well, I wouldn't mind them coming in September. May is not good, because we'll be busy in our school rock band touring in the states. I'll be starting my 5th year of high school and my guitarist will be doing his 11-month course at OIART, so we can spare a day off at the beginning of our respective years...

Well, in the end I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to hear the new music early and redo Vegas in better style than I did in '08. Ticket purchased and flight booked. I know at least 5 others who are definites, so it's looking to be a great time.

If they aren't looking to blatantly rip off Led Zeppelin, I'm not quite sure how this album will be be more of a rocker than their last effort, while at the same time incorporating a Middle Eastern, spiritual theme.
