I've seen some pics from up that way! The weather channel was live in Erie a few days ago. Those images make me happy I live here. Take note though....over 4ft of snow in a couple days time doesn't even shut the people down! They get out their shovels, and carry on you're lucky you didn't get as much as some areas north of you! Did they give you studded tires on that rental? I can just see you sitting out in your car with the heat cranked up listening to stern

The Cherokee is only 2 wheel drive! And Buffalo got 29 inches in one day.

Yeah, you're right, people here are all about forging through this shit. It barely bothers them. Most guys here say they get up at 4 am just to shovel and plow. These are very hard working people.

Yep! Nothing stops them! I can remember driving in a blizzard or two just for a BURGER KING job when I was in college. It's when you follow the tracks ahead of you and HOPE they don't lead into a ditch I know Buffalo got it bad, and then the winds shifted again, and Erie got dumped on pretty bad!! Just south of the city got 4 ft in two days!

I'd be very interested to see what something like Katrina would have been like in this part of the country. I'm betting you would have seen people working together, putting each other up, and generally doing what it takes to get through it. On the flip side, you saw what scummy government dependents did. Passed the buck, blamed everyone else, stole, raped and then demanded the next handout. These people work from sunrise to sunset (and even past sunset during this time of year)!

I'm 100 feet off of Lake Chautauqua. I think most of them are summer cottages and homes.

They were singing a song about jizzing on that black broad's tits and, like the rest of his show, it was just mindless and boring. However, I'm really digging the 80's channel, the Fox News Channel and the ESPN sports station. This might be something I purchase in the future.
