Killer line-up excluding Journey? I think I better save my pennies, because if Europe plays with Journey, I will be traveling lots.

No link, just me talking to people I've worked with before. I would have totally blown it off except for the talk back in 2008 about Journey and Scorpions touring together. Such an odd pairing on the surface, for non -Journey fan folks to mention it to me, I figure that might be a chance. Like everything, it will be a money issue to keep the Scorpions on the road a few months longer than they planned.
If it doesn't pan out, we'll know soon enough.

Would love to see...would have to be a co headliner, which is more then fair to Journey.
Scorps should be closing...

but it definitely would make me see Journey again, haven't since the Arrival Tour.

If they're serious about moving into a more "rocking" direction, this is the audience you'll need to win over and add on. This is an excellent billing for both bands to garner new fans, and it would make an excellent bill. Make it happen, man. That means you, Azoff!

this would be an excellent bill, as def lep were it would bring in the hard rock audieunce that might not, and europe would be great, doubt they would add an audience though

I'd be there in a second. I'd assume it would go Europe, Journey, Scorpions, only because I don't think you'd want the more hard rock crowd there for Europe and Scorps, then bail on Journey. The real hard rockers will drink their way through Journey, but stay to see Klaus and the boys. While on the surface it's an odd package.... The Europe guys like, respect, and site Journey and the Scorps as influences, not to mention they need to play to larger audiences in the US to reenergize their US fanbase, and this would allow them to do it. Journey gets on with a tour that you know will be sold out almost every night, with some great live bands [Deano, insert comment about how Europe sucks here :) ] And, the Scorps rake in more money with one more swing through the States before they call it a day, and play with a couple bands that will draw for various reasons.

It seems to be in many of the comments of recent videos...I have no idea....just wondering if anyone knows why people would
be putting up these kind of comments?

I was not trying to start anything...it just seems like there are a lot of comments about the vocals on the videos.
I have always loved the Scorpions....I just had not looked at YT until there was a mention as a tour partner for
Journey...that is where it picked up on it.

If the comments aren't in German, then they don't know what they're talking about.

Saw them in NJ over the summer and Klaus was sick and didn't sing to his usual form. It was live, trust me. If they were lipping shows, that would have been one to do it at, especially at the beginning of the show. But he didn't, and was out there taking it like a man missing notes and all and getting a lot of fan participation.

I saw them the day before or the day after (day after I think). I know Klaus specifically mentioned that show and that they probably should have, but didn't, cancel the show. It must have been the night before. And, like you said, he was NOT in top form and was noticeably sick, but by the end of the set he sounded fucking great. Hey, we fans understand that these guys get sick, and I would much rather they perform a bit under the weather than cancel the show. As long as they're not harming themselves, a sub-par show is better than no show. And it was awesome when he called out Vince Neil to help him on a song. Man, that was fucking cool!

Here's some video of Klaus getting into it with an asshole fan at the show who kept screaming that Klaus wasn't singing loud enough. Had I known this I would have belted the guy for Klaus!
