I simply stated a fact. So be it.
Another fact. I personally think it is low class to brag about druken exploits. Nothing screams more low class than how someone polished off a twelver and can't remember a stretch of time....
If I insulted 95% of the board, you just insulted 99.9999999% of the board.![]()

Well, you DO live in Cleveland, so that limits your exposure to classy people right there. I can see why you'd confuse this with fact!![]()

Ok, name me one successful corporate executive, political leader, or other highly successful person that isn't an athlete or otherwise involved in the arts that is lined up and down with tattoos? I'm not saying there aren't people out there in those positions that have tats, but believe me, they go to pains to hide them.

I have a feeling we see a lot of airbrushing and I think THAT'S why so many of them wear suits!!!

Hence my original point: I don't understand the desire to permanently ink yourself up. I can't imagine being stuck with something like that for life barring what I understand to be a very difficult removal process.
well I think many of them hide it to avoid judgement by narrow minded people like you!Ehwmatt wrote:StevePerryHair wrote:Ehwmatt wrote:StevePerryHair wrote:Ehwmatt wrote:I simply stated a fact. factual inf.!!
Right, at work you'd have to cover them for the Matty's of the world. But that doesn't mean they shouldn't have them and enjoy them outside of work. Unless you are a doctor and work is your lifestyle that is!Michigan Girl wrote:Not a shot at Sean, but what Matty says is true ...doesn't anyone watch the Job~Fairy?!?!

Exactly.
Re: Lynn it's not a matter of being judgmental. It's a matter of reality. Just the same as when you have a kid, you don't name him Bruce Wayne, Shaniquius Jamaal Tyler, or some ethnic weird thing. You're just doing the kid no favors, just as you're doing yourself no favors walking into situations where first impressions count all tatted up and/or pierced up. First impressions matter to EVERYONE, regardless of how open-minded any one person claims to be.
StevePerryHair wrote:I think with the opinion of tatts being low classed and successful people not having them...you have to define success. I know many fire fighters and police officers with tatts. Our young police chief is covered in them. Would you define these people as unsuccessful or low classed? I don't think I would. Not everyone is going to be a multi-millionaire and have to worry about hiding them or removing them. There are successful lives to be lived tatts or no tatts, and there are low class losers in the world, tatts or no tatts.
Read my post above. You'd have to define success. Many people with tatts earn close to or over 6 figures even. If people have jobs, are supporting their families monitarily, providing for them, loving them, raising them to be good people..that to me is success. Many tattooed people are and have done this.Ehwmatt wrote:Michigan Girl wrote:Not a shot at Sean, but what Matty says is true ...doesn't anyone watch the Job~Fairy?!?!

Actually you'd be shocked then at what some people DO name their kids if your work involved kids like mine does, lol.
