What's on your Christmas Wish List this year?

Postby rockinfayrose » Sun Dec 19, 2010 11:47 am

Though we no longer believe Santa Claus is coming down the chimney or live for the visit to Toys 'R" Us (I'm presuming  ), even us grown-ups have hopes to receive a special gift under the tree this Christmas. So what's on your adult Christmas list this year?

I honestly don't care if I have any gifts under the tree...I am SO excited to see my kids when they open their gifts-that's all the Christmas I need!

Special wish on the adult list? Let's see...

Mistletoe and Nancy Wilson (complete with perfume on her wrist), to be followed by a soft romantic kiss...

Since that might be tough for Santa to swing, a new pedal (preferably the Eventide Modfactor) for my pedal board will have to do.

Me too! I'm usually the last one done opening, cuz I'd rather watch everybody else opening theirs first.

Exactly. I can care-less about receiving. I'm all about giving. I get more joy out of going out in the madness and grabbing special gifts for people you cherish than anything else, it's actually not even close to how I feel of giving than receiving. When people give their gift to me, I actually set it aside and wait for them to open first. The smile on someone's face or a simple handshake and a "thank you" satisfies my holiday craving.

Please pay no attention to the first post children. It is a proven FACT that Santa Claus exists. A prestigious branch of the military (USAF) tracks his location to ensure his mission. This is accomplished with sophisticated equipment that is highly confidential. Children, please refer to this link.

I have a Droid Eris. I love it but for the fact that it takes forever to turn on or boot up. (whatever the correct term is for a phone nowadays)

When it is in sleep mode, the only way to check if it is in sleep mode...you have to push the power button to wake it up.

Thus, if the phone was off instead of asleep. You have to wait forever for it to turn it on, just so you can power it off.

Hearing your different "wishes" has amused me greatly, so thanks to all :) Whatever you get for Christmas, let's hope you don't have the reaction that this 3-year old did after opening his present...

For a Toy, I'd like to have a Clavia Nord Rack X2....The weighted 88-key version is $4K...combine all my family and relatives' spare money and they couldn't buy it. The Rack is just the brain itself that you MIDI to another synth, and it's more reasonable at $900.

...But for more practical gifts, I've been in desperate need of a new matress. The one I have is killing my back.

Nice to see another keyboardist on here! I'd like to get the new Motif XF8. I'd also love to have the new Yamaha CP1. Have you heard that thing? DAMN it's awesome!

I like how the parents sit there laughing, which just makes the kid do it more, instead of teaching him that's not ok. Wait until he does that to Grandma or Aunt Ida on the fixed income or whatever and embarrasses mom and dad. Hope they get THAT on tape. LOL

My wish for myself and for all of you is for safe travels, lots of happy family time, love and good cheer. :D That's all it's about.
