The 1st deer I took with a fire arm this season dropped where she stood at 75 yards...she didn't even twitch when my bullet shredded her heart and lungs and dropped her. She is the 1st deer I took this year, the one I took with my bow didn't even know she had been shot...the arrow went right through her...she continued walking and eating, for about 10 feet, and then just dropped over.


As for cost, the bullets ran me $10, I reload my own ammo, I have had the bow and the arrows for years so the cost is the broadhead, which is minimal when looked at over time. I put almost 320lbs of meat in the freezer. Meat not tainted with antibiotics, hormones and the like.

My family will eat well this coming year, on the good meat I provided them. Which is my RIGHT. To provide food for my family in the method I choose to do so.

Torture-raising animals in horrible living conditions such as animals walking around in two or three feet of feces. Keeping animals in buildings with no windows and packed in so tightly that they can't move around-feeding animals "food" that their digestive systems can't handle. Given animals hormones that make them grow so large they can hardly walk. Feeding them antitbiotics to "protect" the food source from being contaminated when in reality it is the diet they feed the animals that leads to the conatmination of the meat.

I am not a vegan. I do not support PETA. However, I eat meat only about once every few months, if that. My diet is about 90% vegetarian. Not every animal raised for food is raised in those conditions. There are farms where animals are treated humanely and not given any kind of drugs or anything else.

Yes, there are terrible conditions some animals are raised in. But also killing any animal is never going to be equal to it breathing and living out a natural life.

I've been having "unprotected" sex with the same man for 18 years. We do not have HIV or any STD.

No one would choose to get infected. Yes, there are people that are evil and have exposed both men and women to the disease, but it's no different than HEP C in that people that have it pass it along, also HPV.

I can understand Liberal vs. Conservative discussions, but if you think capitalism is wrong then you are living in the wrong country. Maybe you should consider a move abroad if you really have a problem with these two things. Perhaps a communist dictatorship with absolute gun control and absolute economic control. You may indeed like it somewhere like that.

Extreme capitalism got us into this mess. Extreme socialism is just as bad, but there is a happy medium somewhere. Our schools and many other programs are great examples of socialism.

As for the second amendment, when it was written it was a different time with different types of guns that our forefathers could have never imagined. I own a gun, I believe any law abiding citizen that wants a gun should have one, I just believe there should be strict laws governing them and I don't believe any person ever needs to own a machine gun or anything similar to weapons of mass destruction.

I am not a vegan. I do not support PETA. However, I eat meat only about once every few months, if that. My diet is about 90% vegetarian. Not every animal raised for food is raised in those conditions. There are farms where animals are treated humanely and not given any kind of drugs or anything else.

Some people are great hunters and respect the animals and lands they hunt. Some people, like Palin, don't give a shit what they take or how much of it they take, they do it for political reasons more than they do it for life sustaining food.

I would dare say most hunters are respectful of the animals they hunt-all of the hunters I know are.

How do you know Sarah Palin only takes animals for political reasons or for sport? Do you KNOW that her family doesn't consume the meat from the animals?
