Lost boys! Mmm, if I HAD to pick, it'd be Freddy VS Jason VS Michael. One big battle to end all battles! It would need to have the original Freddy though. None of the new bullshit actors.

Probably not going to happen. Coscarelli can't get the funds for V.

If a studio backed up a new movie, they'd likely want to reboot the whole thing — that was the plan around ten years ago.

Freddy, Jason and Michael.

But the real horror movie I want to see is one made from the NECROSCOPE books. If you haven't read them and love horror, vampires, war, espionage and great story telling, check them out. The author is Brian Lumley, who was a member of the Corps of Royal Military Police in Germany and is simply an amazing writer. He's a little Lovecraft-ian with a modern edge. Brian's vampires would eat the Twilight vampires and use their bones for toothpicks.

Here's the first book listed on Amazon.

None of the above. They ran all of those franchises right into the ground with all those sequels, and then they started combining them... like those Taco Bell/KFC combo places... just weird.

I agree, BJG. None. I enjoyed Freddy VS Jason from a fan standpoint of all horror series, but the ending left no room for any else. No story would be logical from here on out to even enjoy.

When have they ever let logic get in the way of a new story? Hell, jason's been stabbed, burned, frozen in space, blown-up (who knows how many times). I say have them all duke it out, then Ronald Reagan can come up out of the grave, eat everyone in his way to the White House, then push the red button and blow the entire town up that they film it in. He can then eat The President along with Pelosi. MAN that would be an awesome movie!!

You're right with the logic thing, but "logic" for another VERSUS movie isn't in the picture since Freddy winked at the end of it so basically there's nowhere to go with it and noone will truly be victorious in the end so it'll be pointless. I do agree on the fact to just let them duke it out and go AWOL for 2 and a half hours with nothing but stabbing, punching and gutting. I agree though, all franchise's ran their COARSE as much as I love them. 8)

I didn't know that. It definitely fits that time frame since it was released in 1988 and his first credits are in 1987. The earliest role I actually saw him in was a 1988 episode of 21 Jump Street. He started getting busy pretty quick.

No horror films have ever scared me, but I still enjoy many of them.

The only movie that ever scared me was "Helter Skelter." But that was because I was only about 7 or 8 years old the first time I saw it, and I knew that it was a true story, not made up.
