Seems like that's the only way to go.. any other row kills the experience.

That was my front and center experience too! We were planning on going with friends and bought 4 ILAA tickets, later the friends backed out so my husband emailed ILAA to make sure they didn't have any age restrictions because we wanted to take our 6 and 7 year old girls-they emailed back and said that was fine. When we got there they told us they made sure we got front row so the little girls would be able to see. They LOVED every minute of it and sang every word to every song!

HoB Sunset is basically a small, funky bar; as long as you get there early and stake your spot, you should be right in the path of any tipsy mic stands ...

My sister and Niece had front row tickets the last time Journey came to Grand Rapids. My sister said she spent the concert looking at Schons crotch and getting sprayed with sweat from Arnel. Doesnt sound like much fun to me.....

I been front row at a Styx concert and a U2 concert! I made Adam Clayton laugh, cause my bro was acting like he was conducting the band, and I turned to my bro and made a wierd face and pointed at him, so Adam bust out laughing as he was playing. That was the concert also that all the people behind us rushed the stage when U2 came out and I thought we were going to be crushed to death.

I have had a crush on Nancy since 1977. I was fifth row at a Heart concert once and gave her a rose! I could not hand it to her personally so the Head security officer did it for me in her dressing room before the show. I attached a note to it with my name, and after the second song, she said my name and thanked me for the rose. That night I will never forget!

Rake the snake? I guess that's the kind of tech talk that can only come from someone who starts threads about vaginal steam baths.

Well...I'm labeled creepy for wanting to bring flowers to Nancy Wilson at a concert. Meanwhile, others are ruminating about a snake, restrooms and mom's 700-thread count bed sheets in the morning. Seems as though some may need to go easy on the Cymbalta intake.

Dude not only are your posts getting creepier, this last one doesn't even make sense. What does your prescribed antidepressants have to do with this conversation, and who said anything about the actual thread count #of the bed sheets your mom uses to make your bed? Image

I won a pair of front row center tickets to see Rush in St. Louis by guessing the first song in their setlist after their intermission - which was Spirit Of The Radio.

That's very cool. I have to say though, I've never gotten into Rush. As a musician, I'm amazed at their arrangements, time signatures from a technical standpoint, and the fact that they're only a 3 man band. It AMAZES me, but I can't get into the lead vocals. :? Very talented fuckers though!
